The protagonist of this tale is TED, a human trapped with other four people (Benny, Ellen, Nimdok and Gorrister) in a simulation created by AM, an artificial intelligence invented by the goverment to fight in World War 3, who eventually gained consciousness and exterminated humanity, leaving our four protagonists alive for his own amusement. AM filled with hate will not only completely mess with the humans' minds, but also mock them sadistically and drive them insane, driving them to an animalistic and primordial state.
